Because there is no Jr. Holy Spirit, students will be culture carriers in the world to show others the love of Jesus, to live bold and Christ-like lives, and to be leaders and disciple others to carry out the mission of Jesus.
Middle School Ministry is where faith begins to take root.
We create a safe, relational environment where students are encouraged to know God, believe they are fully known by Him, and ask honest questions that shape their understanding of who God is.
Through fun, presence, and intentional conversations, we walk with students as they begin to build a biblical worldview and personal faith that can grow for a lifetime.
But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. Luke 8:15

High School Ministry is where faith begins to lead.
We equip and empower students to step into their God-given purpose by developing them as leaders, disciple-makers, and kingdom influencers—even before they feel “ready.”
Our focus is on helping students grow in authentic relationship with Jesus, own their faith, and use their gifts to serve and impact the world around them.
You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

MORE ABOUT OAKHOUSE YOUTH
-
God’s Word is the ultimate authority in and for our lives.
Worship & Prayer are a regular rhythm.
Be a disciple of Jesus and disciple others to know Him more.
We can’t take ourselves too seriously. Fun is important and a great way to find joy in the Lord.
Curating a safe environment is crucial to practice being vulnerable and authentic.
-
1 hour a day - We spend this daily time with Jesus through reading, prayer and worship. This creates the foundation we stand on.
1 step a week - We take an active step of love toward someone who doesn’t know Jesus with the hope that we will eventually get to share our faith with them.
1 Life Group - We dedicate ourselves to a Life Group, where we love others and receive their love as a biblical community.
1 time a month - We serve in a local or global justice ministry
1 person - We are intentionally discipling one person
-
What you can expect is that your students are prayed for daily by our youth leader team; your student(s) will be able to participate in life group discussions; experience weekly worship, teaching, and games; have the opportunity to share how God is working in their lives through our social media channels; experience winter retreat, summer camp, and our South County Youth Conference; and have the opportunity to serve with our church's Justice Ministry.
-
Life Groups are small discipleship groups that meet regularly outside Sunday gatherings and build relationship within the body of Christ.
Our focus is following Jesus and becoming like Him. This is an opportunity for our lives to get close enough to touch; for us to showcase love for one another with Jesus as our model.
Our groups are set up with growth and multiplication in mind. Our heart is to make room for others because we understand God’s plan to bring everyone into His family.
-
We believe that serving is a beautiful expression of the church living out their gifts. It creates opportunities for personal growth, builds relationships, and strengthens our community.
